A wonderful Chinese/Guernsey fusion wedding in Guernsey at St Peter’s Church and Castle Cornet. The day began with Craig being put through his paces at the St Pierre Park Hotel, the ladies in the bridal party put together a series of challenges to prove his worth to his bride. Some of these were really quite tricky, can you say I love you in 10 languages, no neither could they but smart phones and google won the day. A sword fight, dressing up as the Spice Girls and making a DJ & bow tie from bin liners were just a few of the others but I’m happy to say that by the time Craig reached Fan Fan’s door and sang the Chinese National Anthem he was a winner! He was well prepared with bribes in the form of Guernsey pound notes which the ladies were more than happy to relieve him of ..
Onwards to a more traditional Guernsey service at St Peter’s church followed by a reception at Castle Cornet complete with Chinese flag. This really was a day with a difference.
Judging by their faces one of the highlights of the day for Fan Fan and Craig (huge Arsenal fans) was the signed letter from Arsene Wenger congratulating them on their wedding day.
All in all a great result!
Congratulations Fan Fan & Craig.
