A tiny idyllic island off the coast of Guernsey in the Channel Islands was the setting for Matt & Susan’s wedding. Herm, where you can lie on Shell beach and be forgiven for thinking you were in the Aegean, where there are no cars and where the hospitality at The White House hotel is second to none.
Matt & Susan were married to the sound of rain at the town church in St Peter Port, luckily for them the sun made a perfectly timed appearance when they left the church. The boat ride to Herm was eventful, gusting winds and a big sea but the guests took it all in their stride. The sun stayed out for the rest of the day and we managed a trip to shell beach on the golf buggy for some lovely beach shots. Later in the day the wind speed increased to Force 6 and the wedding party were evacuated back to Guernsey at just 8pm, no-one was deterred and the party continued back in Guernsey – and on the boat!
A lovely wedding for a very lovely couple x
