What a great morning. I met with Julie and Henry at The Ropery in Barton. I was hoping for coffee and cake first but Julie clearly knew her grandson better and insisted we took Henry for a stroll first. What an amazing place for photographing children, they can run free without worrying about their safety. Henry was very very shy at first but with a long lens I can keep my distance. Henry soon forgot I was there and we were rewarded with some lovely pictures.
When we had exhausted the Ropewalk I was rewarded with the much needed coffee. I then understood why Julie insisted we take pictures first. Henry I want your metabolism! I have reached the conclusion that if I shorten my legs by two feet, divide my age by er.. several hundred years and run around like a toddler I too can eat like Henry does! Heading home to Henry’s house my personal stylist (Henry’s mum), had thoughtfully erected some fresh plasterboard providing a perfect neutral backdrop. You can see that Henry completely forgot about being shy…
I really enjoyed Henry’s company, what a little star!
Next up Noah….
